## Frequently Asked Questions

What is a wrist coach?

A wrist coach is another name for a play wristband. Coaches also call them wristcoaches, arm bands, or play wristbands. Football Play Card wrist coaches use three large windows that hold full play diagrams, not just play codes or numbers, so your players can see the actual play on the field.

What size should I order?

Our Youth sized wristbands are great for players in elementary school.

Teen wristbands fit most middle school and high school skill players and are also a great option for high school and college girls flag football teams.

Adult wristbands are designed for varsity, college, and older players who need a larger fit.

How many plays fit in each wristband?

Every wristband has three large windows, and each window holds one printed insert. Youth wristbands hold 6 plays per insert for **18 total**, Teen wristbands hold 12 per insert for **36 total**, and Adult wristbands hold 20 per insert for **60 total**. That gives you room to organize plays, call sheets, or position-specific assignments.

What type of paper should I use for inserts?

The top two inserts can be printed on regular paper or laminated for durability. The bottom insert should always be laminated, since it’s most exposed to sweat. Glossy paper works well and provides extra protection from smudging.

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping within the United States is 3–5 business days. International shipping is available and may take longer depending on the destination.

How do I print the play diagrams for the wristbands?

You can easily print wristbands with play diagrams using Football Play Card. Here’s how you can do it:

1. From the Play Card Manager, select one or multiple play cards within a folder.
2. Click the **Print** button at the top right.
3. Choose the option to print your plays to a **Wristband**.
4. Select the number of plays you want per wristband.
5. Select additional wristband customizations.
6. Click **Print** to open the Print Preview window.
7. If you want a PDF, select the **Save as PDF** printer option and then click **Print**.

Can I print just the play names to the wristbands?

To print just the play names on wristbands using Football Play Card, follow these steps:

1. From the Play Card Manager, select one or multiple play cards within a folder.
2. Click the **Download** button at the top right.
3. Open the downloaded file in Excel or Google Sheets.
4. Format the play names to your desired wristband template and print.

Can I make my own wrist coach template?

Yes. Football Play Card builds the wrist coach template for you, so there is no blank printable to fill in by hand. Draw your plays in the app, choose **Wristband** as the print option, and your play diagrams are laid out to the correct insert size for Youth, Teen, or Adult wristbands. Print it directly or save it as a PDF.
