Frequently asked questions
Can anyone sell playbooks on the Marketplace?
Coaches must apply to become a seller and be approved by our team. Once approved, you’ll be able to create listings and sell playbooks directly through the platform.
How much do I earn when someone buys my playbook?
As a seller, you keep the majority of each sale. Here's how it works:

Football Play Card retains a 15% Marketplace fee

Stripe then deducts their standard processing fee (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction – see Stripe pricing)

You receive the remaining amount automatically in your Stripe Connect account
Example:
If you sell a playbook for $20:

FPC earns $3 (15%)

Stripe charges ~$0.88

You receive ~$16.12
Payouts are handled securely and automatically through Stripe Connect.
How much can I charge for my playbook?
As a seller, it’s up to you. Some coaches list full playbooks for more, while others offer smaller play packs for just a few dollars.
Can I update my playbook after it’s published?
Yes, as a seller you can update a listing at any time. However, coaches who purchased the original version will not receive updates. Only new buyers will receive the updated version.
Do I need a subscription to buy a playbook?
No subscription required! You can browse and purchase any playbook on the Marketplace without a Football Play Card subscription.
Can I print a playbook I purchased?
Yes. After purchase, you can view and print plays and play wristbands—even without a subscription.
How do I access my purchased playbooks?
Log into your Football Play Card account. Your purchased playbooks will appear in the left-side menu of the Play Card Manager.
Can I edit a playbook I purchased?
To edit plays or copy them to your binders, you’ll need an active Football Play Card subscription.
Can I get a refund if I don’t like the playbook?
All sales are final. Because playbooks are digital and printable, we’re unable to offer refunds.
Is there a mobile app?
Football Play Card works on your web browser on any device, laptop, desktop, phone and tablet. Football Play Card is also available in the App Store and Google Play.
